But the biggest burp of CO2 comes afterwards, in the glass bottle production and shipping that comprises from 51 percent to as much as 68 percent of wine’s carbon footprint… For the sake of the planet and, and in the eyes of new generations of consumers, the solutions can’t come soon enough.”
